In-Court Bar Program

The In-Court Bar Program is a model that was established by the Northwest Suburban Bar Association.

In-Court Bar participants are a qualified, select group of attorneys who exemplify the finest qualities of the legal profession and possess knowledge and expertise in the courts for which they are approved whether it be Traffic Court, Misdemeanor Court or Felony Court.

Participation in the In-Court Bar Program is a privilege and not a matter of right. Continued participation is contingent upon adherence to the high standards required by the Northwest Suburban Bar Association as well as the Code of Professional Conduct, the Rules of the Circuit Court of Cook County, and the NWSBA In-Court Bar Program Rules and Regulations. (Please read our Rules and Regulations before proceeding to the application.)

Fees to participate in the In-Court Bar Program are billed semi-annually in conjunction with Membership Dues.

  • Attorneys participating in the In-Court Bar Program must be a member in good standing of the Northwest Suburban Bar Association.
  • The program is limited to 80 people, determined by the first 80 members to pay their membership and In-Court Bar dues each billing cycle.

If you have already joined the In-Court Bar Program and looking for your Membership and In-Court Bar Program Dues invoice, please go to the Manage Profile page to the Invoicing, Payments and History section and click on Invoices.
