Welcome to our Mentoring Resource Center!!
One of the goals of our Association is to provide a network for our attorneys to share their experiences and allow our collective knowledge to be available to each other. We achieve that goal by our continuing education seminars, our meetings, our social functions and now our Mentoring Resource Center.
The goal of this site is to assist all attorneys in their practices by providing a means of communication with other attorneys who have the knowledge sought. These mentoring attorneys have volunteered to be available to any attorney having a question or an issue they would like to discuss. This site is intended for the new or inexperienced practioner as well for more experienced attorneys practicing in a new area of the law. It is intended to be used.
If you have a question or an issue that you would like to discuss with an attorney who works in that particular area this is the place to find that attorney.
The means of mentoring will be left to the individual attorneys but will generally be initiated by an e-mail or telephone call to that attorney. Please remember that the mentoring attorney is not available to do your work, he or she is there to lend a helping hand with specific questions that will assist you in doing your work. Our philosophy is that the only dumb question is the one that is not asked so please use the service, make the call.
If you have any questions, complaints, or compliments, contact our Association at 847-221-2601. We want to know how we are doing.
Finally, please remember that the attorney you call is not representing you or your client. He/she is merely giving you guidance with respect to the specific question or issue you are asking for help with. If you rely on the guidance, prudence would dictate that it pass the tests of your own common sense and your own knowledge of the law.
