The Women’s Law Committee will meet on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Noon  at Gianni’s Café,18 W. Station Street Palatine, when Linda Pieczynski of the Legal Assistance Program will present on issues of mental health and substance abuse in a presentation entitled: "Recognizing, Understanding and Referring." This presentation meets the requirements for professional responsibility under the mental health and substance use criteria and credit for your attendance will be submitted by the NWSBA. This presentation has been pre-approved by the MCLE board for one CLE credit.  Please note that "Professional Responsibility MCLE (PMCLE) must be in the area of professionalism, civility, legal ethics, diversity and inclusion, or mental health and substance abuse. Beginning with the N-Z group reporting period ending June 30, 2019, the 6 hours of PMCLE must include either: At least one hour in Diversity and Inclusion and at least one hour in Mental Health/Substance Abuse OR completion of a yearlong Lawyer-to-Lawyer mentoring program.”  This is a luncheon discussion, and participants will be responsible for the expense of their individual meal.  Please RSVP so we can give Gianni's a count.
