In February, 1960 founding members Kenneth G. Meyer, Don Norman, Jim Dowd, and Bill Moore, met to discuss establishing a "lawyer's club" in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. By June 30, 1960 the Articles of Incorporation were signed and the Northwest Suburban Bar Association was formed

The NWSBA offers many opportunities to be active in the Association with 35 Substantive, Social and Standing committees. Members are eligible to receive free CLE credit by attending substantive committee meetings. See individual committee pages for more details.
The NWSBA Center is located in Room 251 in the Rolling Meadows courthouse. The secured Center is accessible to all members in good standing via an electronic FOB system.
