|Business Law & IP Committee|
The Business Law & Intellectual Property committee is open to all members of the NWSBA who have a common interest in business law issues and the growing intellectual property business models impacting small and medium sized businesses. The committee provides education (with CLE credit) and open discussions among friendly colleagues.
Our committee provides support and practical insight for attorneys who practice in the areas of business law covering contracts, policies and laws, state and Federal securities, M&A transactions, updates in corporate law, and other areas of business, technical and finance related transactions. The committee is responsible for presenting one CLE per year.
One (1) hour of CLE credit is awarded to all members in good standing that attend the one hour long Business Law & Intellectual Property committee meetings. Non-members are welcome to attend committee meetings, however they are not eligible to receive CLE credit.
The Business Law Committee meets the 3nd Tuesday of the month from 12:00 Noon until 1:15 PM at the Law Office of Scott B. Friedman 1110 Lake Cook Road, SUITE 185 Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 (pizza is often available).
