In Court Bar Program
Attorneys participating in the In-Court Bar Program must be a member in good standing of the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, an Ethnic Bar Association or the Suburban Bar Association. As an In Court Bar Attorney you must have been practicing for a minimum of three (3) years and have been screened and found qualified to participate in the In-Court Bar Program including a review of trial experience.  The In-Court Bar Program is designed to provide quality legal counsel to defendants who appear in Traffic Court, Misdemeanor Court or Felony Court without private counsel. Participation requires the submission of an application for review.  As an In Court Bar Attorney you must have been practicing for a minimum of three (3) years and have been screened and found qualified to participate in the In-Court Bar Program including a review of your knowledge of case law, motion practice and trial experience.

 

Please access Program Rules and Regulations and the Application HERE.  Upon completion, please email the form to jbarth@nwsba.org for processing.  All applicants will receive a decision within 2 weeks of submission of their application.
