This basic membership level includes FREE CLE and a free "basic" listing in the Find-A-Lawyer program. (The basic listing includes your name, address and telephone number.) 

Dues are invoiced twice a year (January & July) and are pro-rated upon your initial application when applicable.

Full Time - $130 per dues cycle
Part Time - $73.75 per dues cycle

for first year admitted to Bar  


Premier Member

The Premier Member level upgrades your Find A Lawyer listing and includes everything in the basic listing plus your email address, a link to your website, the ability to upload a photo and a link to your full profile including a free-form biography section. 

This level provides the highest level of visibility to those visiting our site in search of an attorney referral.

Full Time - $205 per dues cycle
Part Time - $148.75 per dues cycle
New Admittee - $75.00


Government & Paralegal Member

Select this level of membership if you are a Judge, State's Attorney, Public Defender or Paralegal.
Dues are invoiced twice a year (January & July). This level includes FREE CLE.

Dues: $73.75 per dues cycle


Law & High School Student Member

Select this level of membership if your are actively enrolled in an accredited Law School, are preparing to take the Bar Exam or are part of the High School Educational Outreach program.

Dues:  FREE


Retired Member

Select this membership level if you are Retired but still wish to participate in NWSBA programs and services.
Dues are invoiced twice a year (January & July).

Dues: $73.75 per dues cycle


Affiliated Partner

This level of membership is for corporations, professionals and non-practicing attorneys to attend events at member rates, network with NWSBA members, advertise at member rates and use the NWSBA logo on their website.

Dues: $1,250 per year

Benefits of Membership


The NWSBA is an accredited CLE provider, offering FREE CLE credit to all members in good standing.  Non-members may attend NWSBA hosted seminars for a fee.  Fees vary depending upon the length of the program.  A full list of CLE seminars is available on the NWSBA website calendar page. 
Members also receive one (1) hour of credit for attending Committee Meetings.  See our "Committees" page for meeting dates/times/locations.


The NWSBA Center is located in Room 251 in the Rolling Meadows courthouse. The secured Center is accessible via an electronic FOB system, and is open to all members in good standing. The space features a 70” Smart TV, Internet, WiFi, a computer, copier, printer, coffee machine, lounging area, and private conference room.
Public programs such as the Pro-Bono Desk and Legal Self Help Center are located within the Center.





The Mentorship Program allows established lawyers to mentor new lawyers and help them develop practical skills, judgment and networking skills as a foundation to practice law and become successful. It also helps instill ethical and professional values that will remain with them for their careers.


Revenue generating programs

The NWSBA assists members in generating revenue through programs such as Attorney Referral Service (ARS) and Find A Lawyer programs and is open to all members for an additional fee. Any members practicing criminal law are eligible to participate in the In Court Bar Program. A separate application must be submitted, and additional dues are assessed.
